$1 Trillion Spending Bill
Very recently ,negotiators of the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives has decided on a one trillion dollar spending bill in hopes of preventing another government shutdown until October. This new appropriation bill provides money in order to operate the federal government and it excludes social services and foreign military operations; however, there is more money set aside for some military actions and for domestic disaster relief. Republicans and Democratic leaders from both houses agreed to this new bill and this bill will soften some of the harsh spending cuts. Also, the bill would exempt disabled veterans from a modest pension reduction for military retirees. Finally, the Democrats and the Republicans both found an agreement to get this country back on its feet. Yay for 'Merica!
