Calm down Putin, it's just Pussy Riot

Pussy Riot is a Russian feminist punk rock group based in Moscow, Russia. Band members Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova had been imprisoned for nearly two years for singing "a silly song in church," as the put it in an interview Steven Colbert earlier this month. They had been imprisoned for nearly two years after being convicted of "hooliganism" and inciting religious hatred for performing the silly song bashing Putin and later posting it online. They were released right before the Olympics started, in my opinion, to create a good image for Russia and Putin (even though the Sochi Olympics are falling apart anyways but that's another current event topic).
Pussy Riot has been in Sochi this week to shoot a new music video and to record a song in English critical of Putin, called "Putin will teach you to love the homeland." After only a few days in Sochi, they were detained and arrested. Because of the day and age in which we live in, Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova live tweeted picture of their detaining. The police claimed to be investigating theft at the hotel the two members of the band were staying at. Just after five hours, the chargers were dropped and they were released. It is explained more in this article and video.
Within the three days that Pussy Riot has been in Sochi, this was the third time they have been detained and interrogated. It is obvious the Russian government is trying to convey that Pussy Riot is not welcome in their own home country. There has been a constant push and pull between Pussy Riot and the Russian government, mainly Putin. Ever since their arrest a little over two years ago, the government has been trying to contain Pussy Riot and their activist movements. If anything, it has made them speak louder against the government. Once released, Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova went to public television to discuss their time in prison and the flaws of Putin's government. The two band members have been touring around the world sharing their story and looking at the different prison conditions. It is more explain here in this interview with Steven Colbert on The Colbert Report.
Pussy Riot is a force that can't be stopped by Putin and his government. At this point, they have become powerful in their actions and movements creating a fan base to back them up. Many people are willing to support Pussy Riot in their opinions towards the Russian government. If I were Putin, I would be careful around these girls.
